The 2018 Skowhegan Moose Festival included an American country music performance featuring headliner Phil Vassar and opening act Bryan White!
Vassar and White took the stage following Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife's 2018 Moose Permit Lottery at the historic Skowhegan State Fairgrounds.

About the Artists
One of only a handful of musicians to have multiple hits as both a songwriter and an artist, Phil Vassar has 10 Number 1s, 15 Top 10s, and 26 Top 40s. Some of his top songs include "Just Another Day in Paradise," "Carlene," "Six-Pack Summer," "American Child," "For a Little While" and "My Next Thirty Years" (Tim McGraw), "Right on the Money" (Alan Jackson), and "I'm All Right" and "Bye Bye" (Jodee Messina). He has won two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year trophies, been named Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year, and launched his own Rodeowave Entertainment label. In 2016 Vassar released his ninth album, American Soul.

In 1994 Grammy Award-winning artist Bryan White embarked on his prolific recording career with the release of his self-titled certified-Platinum debut. He followed up with back-to-back Platinum-selling albums, Between Now and Forever and The Right Place. He had six Number 1 singles with "So Much for Pretending," "Sittin' on Go," "I'm Not Supposed to Love You Anymore," "Rebecca Lynn," "Someone Else's Star," and "From This Moment On"—recorded with Shania Twain—along with eight additional Top 40 singles.
